KTI Cartoon Space Ship

Okay, this is going to be a fairly short post. This spaceship is from the firm of KTI, but I don't know if KTI is a Japanese firm or a Hong Kong firm. It can be anywhere from mid-1950s to 1960s vintage. The cartoon characters are totally unfamiliar to me but if I had to bet (not much though - I'm cheap) I'd say this was Japanese. It measures 9 1/4" (23.5cm) L x 3 3/4" (9.5cm) wingspan x 3 1/2" (8.9cm) H. Enjoy!
