Mattel The Flintstones Motorized Cave Cars #65907 The Flintmobile

As time permits I'm gonna be posting a whole slew of Flintstone Flintmobile's or Flivver's (they tend to be referred to by both names). Digging into the big box of Flintstones stuff I came across a whole bunch of these little gems and have slowly-but-surely been taking pics of them. Some of them will be going up for sale on eBay but some are keepers - for now :-)

Way back in Auig of 2013 I posted this 'The Flintsones' movie tie-in version of the Flintmobile with a likeness of John Goodman behind the wheel, but the post only showed the mint-on-card toy. Well, that toy got sold off years ago but somewhere along the line I ended up with a loose example and now is as good a time as any to present it. The toy measures 4.25" (10.70cm) L x 2.75" (6.98cm) H with a friction motor. Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina

Today's post is a quick one.  This kind of represents one of my dead end collecting efforts. These were licensed tie-ins to 'The Flintstones' movie and while I liked the movie after buying a few toys from this line it dawned on me that they just weren't my cup of tea. My sentimental favorite was always the smaller sized Marx Flintstones playset so these ended up getting sold before too long:)Fritz & Bettina Berg:)  Enjoy!
