Wyandotte Hook& Ladder Fire Truck - Red/White HP

After years of looking for a Wyandotte plastic fire engine to go with my Wyandotte Toytown Fire Station I finally latched on to one last year. I have posted the red and white HP versions of the All Metal Products Co. trucks. All Metal was, I believe, the result of a merger with Wyandotte and their fire trucks were modified versions of the original shown here today. My sample has some issues with the ladder - a few broken rungs - but is otherwise in decent enough shape. It measures 6" long overall (with ladder). The body measures 5 3/4" (14.60cm) L 1 5/8" (4.12cm) W x 1 3/8" (3.49cm) H. With the ladder inn the raised position it is 5" (12.7cm) H. Enjoy!

K.F.D. Ladder Truck, Long

Here's the last of the five Kellogg's Corn Flakes K.F.D. cereal premiums offered back in 1956-57. This is the one I didn't know about until a random search on eBay caught my eye. After buying the first four vehicles years ago I gave up the search thinking that there were only four vehicles to begin with, But now I know there were five. In the coming weeks I hope to post a little project that's been in the works for the past couple of months. As usual, it's a project that should have only taken a couple of weeks but has already dragged on for several months. Anywho, stay tuned to this station for more! Enjoy! K.F.D. Ladder Truck, Short

Well, let's see if I can get back on track with posts. I've been slowly, but surely, posting the itsy, bitsy Kellogg's Corn Flakes cereal fire engine premiums from 1956. So far three of the five vehicles that were originally a part of the set have been featured, today marks the fourth vehicle. There were two ladder trucks in the set, one short and one long and of course today is the shorter of the two. Well, I'd love to write more but the grand baby is waking up from her nap and wanting Opa! Enjoy! Opa Fritz and Oma Bettina
