T. Cohn Cannon - Red Barrel, Yellow Wheels

Here's the second T. Cohn cannon variation I've come across. Besides the obvious color differences in the barrel, wheels, and ammo, the turned wooden plunger is more decorative on this one. Enjoy! Opa Fritz

T. Cohn Cannon - Black Barrel, Red Wheels

One of the benefits of trying to piece together a complete set from bits-&-pieces bought over time, is that you come across variations you didn't know existed. Case in point: T. Cohn cannons of which I happened across two different variations so far when trying to piece together a complete Fort Comanche playset. The one posted today has a black barrel, red wheels, a silver plastic projectile, and a round wooden pull-back plunger. The design of the toy is interesting. As a cannon, it's ugly - no need to mince words here. It has the appearance of a cannon but it is far from being an accurate replica. As a toy however, it is simple and functional. Junior can either set it on the ground, fire it, and poke someone's eye out, or he can hold it in his hands, fire it, and poke someone's eye out! LOL The narrow design of the thing facilitates the holding of it in the hands of little warmongers. The projectiles look like miniature bullets but the barrel opening is wide enough for small stones or....? It measures 3" (7.62cm) L x 1 1/2" (3.81cm) W x 2 1/2" (6.35cm) H. Enjoy! Opa Fritz
