OU comments: this is a nearly complete recording of this broadcast, which was probably the whole show. the only part missing is for a tape flip about 1 minute into track 7. just a few seconds missing (spliced). it may very well be the least rare of Ozzy recordings, since it was a national broadcast, but it's the only one I have that I recorded except for the 86 KBFH show which I saw posted by another uploader before. it was from "pre-nakturnal" days but it was recorded on a decent (not great) recorder and this may be the 1st time in 25 years that the tape was played. (to digitize it.)
there was an interview with the Oz before the show but I had to leave it out because it was done over (a released version of) AC/DC's "shoot to thrill" blaring over the PA before the show. the opening recorded intro (about a minute long) is not released to my knowledge.
so this is the whole show (minus maybe 5 seconds or so) from start to end and it will all fit on 1 CD. Ozzy's voice was shot to hell in this show but otherwise it was a rockin' show, I didn't notice any problems in the recording.
I'm sure most Ozzy fans would prefer that this be a Randy show, but it is a master FM recording of an Ozzy show being circulated for the 1st time.
