OU: The source for this is an FM broadcast (a couple of days after the actual show) recorded directly from the tuner to the analog input of a "standalone" CD-recorder (in other words - no tape 'stage' involved). Great sound quality IMHO!
There was a commercial boot pressed (of unknown lineage), but I didn't see it available on DIME, and I think it was also missing a track. I've included some pictures from the show (found on the net) plus the cover for the CD boot.

OU Notes: JEMS master recording. This is an excellent sounding recording capturing Elvis Costello & the Attractions on the first night of their "Wake Up Canada" tour in November 1978. They played a "secret show" the night before at the Mocambo, which Elvis references during the late show. They played two sets this night and JEMS recorded both. The late show is torrented separately. This recording includes the first known performances of "Girls Talk" and "Tiny Steps." JEMS also taped three nights later in London, Ontario, and on November 8th in Hamilton.
This version is a fresh 2010 transfer by JEMS from master.
Additional notes:
- tape flip during "Radio, Radio" at 0:22; about 20 seconds are missing.
