OU: This show is from my reel. Upon doing the transfer I noticed that Simon and Garfunkel sounded like Alvin and the Chipmunks. When the show was pitched, it was found to be almost a semitone too high. Pitch was matched to the online program "Virtual Keyboard". This is truly a special Simon and Garfunkel show from the height of their powers, and shouldn't be missed if you like the band.

This was downloaded in FLAC from a hub and again the lineage is a bit sketchy, but it was definitely extracted from the Yellow Dog bootleg "Welcome In Holland" (catalog # YD 059/60). The recording clearly ran too slow -- though by no means as slow as the first copy of the concert I obtained, back in the '70's -- so I have speed-corrected it using Magix Audio Cleaning Lab 10 (the speed problems were inconsistent, so I worked on each track individually, making comparisons with many other shows, especially the Paris show from the same month; the original timings are indicated in brackets). I have not applied any noise reduction, although listeners who don't like any hiss might want to do so. Certainly a soundboard, though with some volume fluctuations here and there.
Wonderful rendition of "Bridge" with piano-only accompaniment -- FAR better than the Ohio '69 version with it's crappy thumpety-thump drumming....

13 years ago I received a DAT from KEN DIXON (Ohio) with this nice show (don't remember if he was the taper or if he have made a DAT clone for me). I transfered in 1995 the DAT on CD-AUDIO with my standalone PIONEER PDR-05 (connected with an optical cable), so This transfer was just maded (this time a rip from CD-AUDIO in secure speedy with EAC).
Talking with ROEL, he have suggested to upload it as in the past this show (only partial, so not complete) was treeded (..or seeded ??) in low quality sound.
As this show contain some gems as "Stringman" and a rare duets with Simon & Garfunkel (on Helpless and Only love can Break your Heart) and a really emotional "Sound of Silence" with Neil on solo electric guitar, I'm happy to share this really particular show, specially in this quality.

(There is a bit of hiss on the recording, but all in all it is quite enjoyable, considering it's from 1964)

The first 9 tracks are Art Garfunkel trying out some classics (vocal only) and trying to dub himself onto tape.
The rest is from the bootleg known as Chez which Paul Simon recorded for his then girlfriend Kathy who lived in London and whom he met during his stay there, just before Sounds Of Silence became a hit. This is like a taped letter for her. Art is helping out on some songs...

It's a quite funny bit of history...
