OU: Always a great show from Roger. I found out the day of the show that he had a full band with him. That got the blood pumped up. He did not disappoint. Very easy 2 hour listen right in the sweet spot. 18 songs. I wish I had gone all three nights as he mixed up the set list. I will be at Ravinia in August. Enjoy!

OU: I get this gig swapping records. CD came in a trade and without jewel case and I lost it. Now I´ve found it with several surface marks and covered with dust. After dowloading You may hear some noises but has a good sound,´cos the gig was broadcasted in a Texan radio and later released as a bootleg called "Aliens in Texas". Remember again the status where I find it and don´t become a neurvous wreck if you hear click of small noises.

Supertramp: (Unknown Venue 1979-1982?) Pre-FM FLAC

Supertramp - 1982 - A Night On The Road (cleaned up version)
OU: I've managed to remove most of the ticks and crackle. An occasional pop still crops up here and there, but it's not too annoying. Only exception is the start of Hide in your shell. Some ticks there just wouldn't go away. So be it.
Commercials, dj talk and interviews have been left out. I created a short fade-in or fade-out where necessary. This is offered here a I made it for my own enjoyment. Great sound and great tracklist.
This is sourced originally from a 3LP set sent out to radio stations. It was made in May 1982, but I think the recordings go back to the big tour Supertramp did in 1979. The LP's were sent out in spring 1982 to generate interest for the upcoming new album.

Dan Lampinski recorded over 100 concerts in the Providence/Boston area, mostly between 1974 and 1978. His earliest recordings were made with an internal microphone deck. In late 1974 he bought a Sony TC-152SD tape recorder, a Sony ECM-99 stereo microphone, and began using Maxell cassettes. He also had a friend who provided excellent taping seats for many shows, resulting in high quality recordings. In 1977, he switched over to a Nakamichi 550 tape recorder, two Nakamichi CM-300 microphones, and continued using Maxell cassettes.
He recorded many of the major 70's bands: Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Queen, Blue Oyster Cult, Frank Zappa, Jethro Tull, ELP, Kiss, Black Sabbath, The Who, Al Stewart, Alice Cooper, Jeff Beck, Bruce Springsteen, Supertramp, Jean-Luc Ponty, Moody Blues, Neil Young, The Faces, Rush, Rick Wakeman, Kansas, as well as lesser-known acts.
Dan never traded copies of his recordings, although he did give some copies away to friends. These releases are the first time most of these recordings have ever circulated, and are direct from his master cassettes.
