Tommy Bolin: Outtakes and Demos 1976 (Studio) FLAC

1
Private Eyes Outtakes, demos and rehearsals 1976
source: studio outtakes and demos
length: 52.20
quality: varying from A to B, most of it sounds pretty darn good

Here´s another gem. I got 19 tracks in total, many of which were simply shite. I´m sure everybody recalls the early 90´s when people started "karaoke"-ing studiosongs, i.e. trying to bury the vocals whilst enhancing portions of the music/instruments. Some cd-players even had a button for this. True, the overall emphasis changes which makes some stuff which might be buried in the mix more prominent, but it´s still just the regular studioversion of the song. In any case some people liked to tape such tampered songs and call them "demos", and this disk had a bunch of those. All those tracks were sorted out from here and disposed of, and I tried my best to find the remaining tracks on any official releases. No such tracks were found.
I love these, especially the haunting Sweet burgundy and the naked Hello, again. Oh, I let tracks 12 and 13 stay on even though I cannot say for sure that they were part of these sessions, maybe someone here recognizes them?

1. You told me that you love me
* Instrumental, totally different guitarparts.
2. Shake the devil
* Outtake, diff. mix, longer ending
3. Sweet burgundy
* Outtake, no guitar, different vocals
4. Hello, again
* Outtake, guitar and vocals only, no strings overdubbed
5. Gypsy soul
* Outtake, almost 40 seconds longer outro
6. Gypsy soul
* demo, acoustic guitar + vocals
7. Gypsy soul
* rehearsal/demo, two guitars + bass
8. Bustin´ out for Rosey
* demo, different vocals
9. Someday will bring our love home
* instrumental demo
10. Someday will bring our love home
* acoustic instrumental, two guitars
11. Post toastee
* acoustic demo, guitar + vocals
12. Untitled instrumental
* outtake
13. Guitar snippet
* 53 seconds, Tommy counts in and plays a riff.
ENJOY!!!

Tommy Bolin: Glen Holly Outtakes 1975 (Studio) FLAC

SF-5-7-760015PSZPQBC-1024x1024
Glen Holly Outtakes
Unknown date, probably around 1975
length: 34.03
quality: B+ / A-

OU: I know next to nothing about this. I got a bunch of discs with Tommy some years back, some of the stuff on there was crap, some stuff is really cool, there are LOTS of outtakes from Teaser and Private Eyes which I will get around to eventually but this one was simply marked "Glen Holly Outtakes".
I recognize some of the songs, there are some songs which are probably just jams but at least the last song has lyrics sung by Tommy in the background. This is probably not a soundboard recording, it sounds more like a rehearsal tape with the vocals buried deep (when sung).
Maybe someone will like it, and maybe someone can help me fill the gaps. Any info about this band/date/titles, whatever, would be greatly appreciated.

1. Getting tighter (instrumental, it sounds a lot like the Purplerecorded version)
2. -unknown-
3. -unknown-
4. -unknown-
5. Needles & pins
6. Teaser (with Homeward strut false start in the end)
7. Homeward strut
8. -short jams-
9. -unknown- (has lyrics though!)

ENJOY!!
