OU: The show itself is brilliant, a pity I did not attend or recorded it. Luckily Alain did it and was so kind to hand over to me his MiniDisc master to have it transferred digitally. And so here it is, the maestro himself in another magnificent solo show.
Joao Gilberto must be one of the toughest musician to record because he plays so quietly and then all of the sudden you have a flood of applauses... and your recording levels go nuts! So I took some time to balance the low and high levels and the result is somehow ok. Soundwise Alain did a very good job to capture the show, you will love this!
Dedicated to brazilian music and bossa nova, the best thing on earth for the last 50 years... ldb
