ONE days left to send in your lists for the Stoner HiVe Top 20 Countdown of 2025! Which will start on December 15th! For yes, just like every year since the HiVe started, back in 2009, we do the year end Countdown. And just like every year we need your help! We need to know what albums made your head spin, blood race and your bones jump with pure euphoria! So please, my lovely fellow heavy music freaks, send your lists to our EMAIL... 

The rules: vote for any amount of albums or EP’s released in 2025. (And at the very end of December 2024.) If you dug only one; name that one. If you dug 78; name all of them! It doesn’t matter how much, one, five, 10, 13, 20 or 41. We just want to know which albums made you go crazy! The amount of lists already received is crazy… But we can always use more! So please, send yours now, so we can best our grand total! 

And just like almost every year, we have a minor deadline extension... Because so many are rolling in on this final day... The Deadline now closes on December the 15th, 8.00 GMT! So there’s still enough time to get crackin… Almot 24 hours in fact!  Go on… If not for yourself or me; do it for all the rest of the lovely freaks out there… Scurrying in the HiVe…

The Stoner HiVe Top 20 Countdown of 2025

Freakin hell! You had a whole goddamn year to prepare yourself for this, get a polling system in place, to make things easier for yourself. But nooooo… So, yet again, even though the amount of work is becoming impossible, we do this thing the old fashioned way! 

You ready? 

This is it! The very first official announcement that the Stoner HiVe Top 20 Countdown of 2025 is just around the corner. We’ve been doing this since 2009 and above is the image featuring all the Number One albums according to all the votes that came in so during those years. Your votes! It’s your call! And this is a call to arms, voting arms… Get ready to make that list and send it to us. 

We will commence with the Stoner HiVe Top 20 Countdown of 2025 on Monday the 15th of December and you will have till Sunday December 14th, 20.00 CET to send your list.  As mentioned, we still don’t have a fancy poll system in place, so we continue to do it the old fashioned, manual labor and lots of sweat. Please send your list via email to stonerhive@hotmail.com. 

The rules, like every year, are very simple. Send a list of your albums from 2025, or late December 2024, to our email: stonerhive@hotmail.com . It can contain as many as you want. But be advised, it’s a weighed count and all entries below your Number 20, will get the same amount of points as your Number 20. 

Almost every year the amount of lists we receive keeps growing and we are thankful for each and every one of them. Whether you are able to list five favorite albums or fifty, it’s all good! You can send your list to our email and we will do all the computing and tallying… And then when the day is there, we shall start the Stoner HiVe Top 20 Countdown of 2025! Ending, as always, with this year’s Number One on January 1st…

Gonna listen to last year’s Number One album according to all of you that voted right now! Which was Slift and their Ilion album. I’m curious to see what you all vote for this year and what album will reach the Number One spot this year… Please help me out by sending your votes!

We’re off… For a little week… Which means, DEADLINE EXTENSION! Please keep sending your votes, your lists for the Stoner HiVe Top 20 Countdown of 2022!! Deadline is now: December 17^th!

Off to ride a mountain…

 

Off to ride a mountain…

Due to a massive snow dump in a part of the Alps, it could not be helped! We’re off to ride a mountain and an avalanche or two… It’s addictive that white powder; and we’re not talking about the Peruvian marching powder… No no no, we need that shimmering white stuff! That stuff that glistens in the morning sun… And on the road and on the mountain, we will be revisiting all those majestic albums released in 2022 (so far), our Personal Top 100 will be heard across many a valley… But how about yours? Cause, since we decided to yet again, go boarding during the Stoner HiVe Top 20 Countdown… We’ve decided to extend the deadline by a few days… And do the first few positions two per day… So, instead of December 13^th, the deadline will now be on December 17^th! We’ve already been receiving a massive amount of lists daily… But we would love to receive more. So, go ahead, list those albums you love, and send them over to us on: stonerhive@hotmail.com.
