Good morning! It’s been a heavy week trying to come to grips with the fact I’m becoming an old man. A freaking bout with the flu is taking me many days to recuperate from. It’s been over a week now and I’m still not a 100%. And because of all the lying around on couches and bed has wrecked my lower back. Pfff… Luckily we have all this amazing music to lift our spirit and heal our soul! The road to recovery might be longer nowadays, but its paved with great riffs and awesome grooves! Don’t believe me? Mornin y’all! Monday is once again upon us! And we can glance back at some damn fine concerts during the weekend. A magnificent Anna von Hausswolff and three bands that tore The Jack in Eindhoven a new one. The moody and atmospheric Nevels opened the night, followed by a pristine Der Mancha Red and the debut stage experience for the aggro post metal mixture of Even If We Lose. And damn, how Der Mancha Red have grown, incredibly tight and a sound that reaches every fiber of your being. But as those tones slowly pass away now, we look forward to the FULL ALBUM PREMIERE by Mount Palatine we’ll do this Wednesday. And look back to thank Tony Maim for his Gluecifer write-up and Ronny Dijksterhuis for Iron Head and a massive Quick Fire Friday. And personally we jotted down some word on Barbears… Let’s hope to do some more this week! And check out those albums on the Top 10. Even though many of them won’t come out for a month or more, some of them have their first singles out and they will surely entice you to get ready for more! Have a great week everyone!

Well, as you perhaps read… We returned yesterday. But, we had to grab our repaired car, so the above post is a bit late. Shit, it is so late, it even refers to the week before little holiday. But we wanted to do it anyway, before we get down to the real action! Please browse the list and check out all that you can, cause they are all there for a reason. Soon, February 5th,  we will do the Full Album Premiere for the Mount Palatine album and we will definitely revisit that Hermano live album and the Accabadora release. Both stunning releases! In a week leading up to the publishing of the new Doom Charts edition, we still managed to get some HiVe stuff done! Good morning and welcome to another glance at the week passed. We started the week passed with some words on Maha Sohona, Sunbreather, Frayle and Lacertilia. Managed to also do a Quick Fire Friday and watched as the new October Doom Charts spread like wildfire! What a month it has been. So many great releases! And as that other post filled with loads of goodies went up on Friday, the Quick Fire Friday segment we marveled once again at the amount of music being released on a daily basis! And after all that we done head first into the new single by LáGoon! Feeling truly honored to be able to reveal You Tried (You Failed) to the world! Have you listened yet? To all of it? I think we do not need to mention once again that the week flew by. We all know it. We all experience it. Time is moving ever faster. And the amount of great releases keeps on growing. October has been insane in that respect and that will surely be reflected in the Doom Charts going live this Friday. But until then, we hope to do a few reviews, or at least as much as last week! Cause we did manage to mention that amazing Florist album, the stunning Howling Giant, the great Pink Fuzz and that wild Zhaat record. But we could have and should have mentioned way more. Man, there’s a lot of great music out there!
