We haven’t done a Quick Fire Friday since December 2022! And because we haven’t done since last year, we take Quick Fire Friday session back into that year. Why not, right? We can do whatever we want and there is so much music being released every day, it is impossible to keep up. Luckily there are all kinds of blogs, zines, sites and podcasts to help us all out. And of course those monthly Doom Charts. But now, on this Friday we take it back to 2022 and party like 2023 hasn’t even happened yet. And you know the deal… There is so much out there, so much good and heavy stuff, and we just simply cannot ever do it all justice. So here it is. Another Stoner HiVe Quick Fire Friday! Fish Basket - Imaginarium
Fish Basket, released their music video for the song Imaginarium back in October 2022. The instrumental, progressive and psychedelic trio created the video for the Imaginarium song using AI. The result is something of a short sci-fi movie that fits perfectly with the music. “The recipe for the Imaginarium is locked behind the ancient doors. Three brave hunters are sent on a mission to get the three mysterious scrolls needed to open them... but somebody doesn't like it at all.” They stated. Well, whatever that evil might be, we love the outcome!

We mentioned their The Healer single, but never got around to writing something about the full Hypercarnivore album! We should be flogged for that, for Waste A Saint is awesome! The quartet from Trondheim, Norway, give you nine highly electrifying alternative rock tracks. Garage, stonerrock, hardrock and everything extremely sexy and highly danceable. It all sounds like the kind of music you desperately need to experience in a live setting, in a sweaty, completely packed venue… Best be keeping an eye out for their tourdates..
