Onioroshi – European tour starts… Now! 

It took me a while to remember that I dug Beyond These Mountains LP from 2019 quite a lot. But after revisiting it this week, I knew we had to mention the fact that the Italian threesome Onioroshi is about commence on their European tour. Ten dates, with the first happening tomorrow in Peyrelevade, France. Sadly no Dutch dates this time around, but luckily we have the new Eris and Wicked Child singles to keep us warm. And let’s not forget that they also released their Shrine album in 2025 through Bitume Productions…. 

The two new singles still retain that expansive heavy psychedelic prog. But blend that atmospheric exploration with more slow burning song structuring, giving the tension filled compositions a feverish dream quality, that might just turn into a rabbit hole on stage. You can never know where the Onioroshi three will take you. Not on record and certainly not on stage!

Onioroshi is a Heavy Psych band from Italy active since 2019. Following the debut of  their 2nd LP Shrine (2025, Bitume Productions), the band played some shows in Italy and then started working on a European tour for 2026. At the same time they began working on new music: two new singles named “Wicked Child” and “Eris”, both 5 minutes long, mark the first time the band has released compositions shorter than ten minutes, with a new drive towards a more leaned and flowing style, which doesn’t drop the distinctive noise-driven research of the band. The new songs were released on February the 25th with two videos shot by Jacopo Gioacchini, with Rebecca Piraccini featuring as actress and dancer.  

 
The band is touring Europe between 12 and 27 March 2026, visiting southern France (in Peyrelevade and Uzerche), Geneva (CH), Subotica (SRB), Budapest (HU), Bratislava (SK), Vienna (AT) and Osijek (CR) for a total of ten shows, and sharing the stage with plenty of independent and local bands.

It’s a Psychlona march over in Europe! All through March they’ve got their boots on and their majestic beat to stomp to. Almost twenty nights long you can get your Psychlona fix! Starting this Wednesday, the 4th in the lovely Merleyn venue in Nijmegen, Netherlands, with Kardeathian as pre-show. And the day after, on the 5th, Doom Charts’ very own Riffsniffer invites them to the Baroeg in Rotterdamn to do it together with Cosmic Debris and Fuzzard. Those Dutch dates along are enough to get your disco shoes out of the closet! Can’t miss it!

A small and exclusive two-day music gathering featuring hand-picked kraut, psychedelic, stoner, and doom bands, contrasted with the enchanted aristocratic vibes of Old Oak Castle in Pusztazámor, Hungary.
We highly encourage bands to jam!
Most groups arrive with special sets or improvised sessions, creating a l’art pour l’art atmosphere.
We believe art is a way to understand human cognition, and that music - the oldest art form of all - can teach us to recognize our hard-wired emotional nature through shared experiences.
Therefore, we invite you to join our journey on the first weekend of autumn!

The Venue

Old Oak Castle is a very special place, both historically and as an experience. The atmosphere beneath the shade of the oak tree -older than the castle itself- is something that cannot be described. The building has been preserved. Its walls do not hide a polished museum, but rather a strangely familiar world filled with antique charm.
Fortunately the owner is a punk who gladly welcomes people like us, and shares our rock and roll spirit.

Para Hobo is a fantom record label and a one man heavy music art studio.

Psychedelic Source Records is a jam collective and a DIY record label, formed on the ashes of Lemurian Folk Songs. They released more than 80 sessions over the years and won the 'Label of the Year' prize 2025 at Independent Label Fair, Hungary.

It's the 2026 edition for Bear Stone Festval in Donje Primišlje, Croatia, 02 to 05 July, 2026!  A festival I desperately need to visit one day. Not sure if it will happen this year, but the line-up sure makes you want to do your absolute best. Maybe I'll just have to take a two week holiday, and go from the amazing Bear Stone Festval on to the 25th anniversary edition of Stoned From The Underground... Now... That's what I call a plan!

Over here in Europe we have so many amazing festivals, it’s insane. And I hope to have attended them all at least once one day. And then to learn that the USA only has a handful kept baffling me. But slowly, I am finding out there are a few more. Like the Holler of Doom Festival over at Mountain View Farm in Kentucky, which had their fifth edition a week or two ago. And in September the seventh edition of the Descendants of Crom Festival will take place. Friday, September 26th and Saturday September 27th to be exact over at Thunderbird Cafe & Music Hall in Pittsburgh… And look at that line-up! It has all kinds of sweet doom and savory metal!

Fog Giant, Sathanas, Funerals, Brown Angel, Cherubs, Rebreather, Edhochuli, Fistula, Crypt Sermon, and Black Tusk

An incredibly DIY, straight out of the Heavy Underground, let’s do this family style kind of festival. For it not only provides in all the metal needs you might have, it also spices the festival up with limited edition hot sauce collaborations and special custom brewed beers! Sounding more and more like the perfect weekend with everything we heard about it. A definite must experience festival! And one to jot down on my list of ‘I hope one day’… Cause well, we’re all Descendants of Crom!

For these will all be remastered to a new standard, showing off once again what kind of band Dozer already was. And continues to be. And as a first taster, they release the single Rings Of Saturn. It's the vinyl only bonus track for the Madre de Dios album from 2001 released through Molten Universe, which was limited to a 1000 issues... And now... It will be available for all Dozer fans! Formed in 1995 in the town of Borlänge, Sweden, DOZER led the earliest wave of stoner/desert rock, a fusion of proto-metal, riff-rock and punk that blasted forth from Scandinavia and Europe in response to the tectonic heft and sun-baked fuzz of American bands Kyuss and Fu Manchu.
 
30 years on, DOZER are heralded as undisputed forerunners of a movement and champions of volcanic energy.  Their status was affirmed in 2023 with the release of the landmark Drifting in the Endless Void, an amp-splitting return that dominated best-of lists and turntables, which Distorted Sound called, "a perfectly executed stoner album and then some" and was dubbed "an outstanding comeback" by Hellfire and "a magnetic fireball of propulsive hooks and cosmic majesty" by Decibel.  This renewed dominance led to DOZER’s first US tour in 20 years and set the stage for their three-decade milestone in 2025.
 
DOZER have always been prolific. Driven by take-no-prisoners energy, they'd hit the studio often, laying down songs in rapid-fire batches with little concern for schedules and album planning, and their early days saw the band self-release a multitude of small-run 7-inch singles that tapped into their DIY leanings and allowed forward momentum at maximum velocity.  More songs surfaced on compilations and as limited-release b-sides, while others went into the proverbial vault.
 
In celebration of their 30th anniversary, DOZER enthusiastically present Rewind to Return, a double album of singles, rare tracks and b-sides from across their prolific history. Neither a chronological document nor a comprehensive collection of every non-album track, this is a carefully considered selection of the band's favorites, chosen for their meaning and impact, brilliantly remastered by Karl Daniel Lidén and assembled to create the best possible record to commemorate DOZER’s vast catalog and untouchable legacy.

Building on the critically acclaimed writing partnership between Marlon King, Nick Hannon, and Dandy Brown (first established on the widely celebrated Yawning Sons album Sky Island), Lorquin's Admiral encapsulates the essence of psychedelic rock while pushing the genre into exciting new territories. The band’s debut album highlights the stunning vocal interplay of husband-and-wife duo Dawn and Dandy Brown, and the commanding rhythms of celebrated drummer Steve Earle, creating an immersive sonic experience that is both heavy and hypnotic.

Adding to the album’s allure, guitar virtuosos David Angstrom (Hermano, Luna Sol) and Country Mark Engel lend their distinctive touch, enriching the record with lush, textured guitar landscapes. Angstrom’s contributions span seven tracks, while Engel’s masterful work graces two.
Drawing inspiration from desert rock pioneers while seamlessly incorporating elements of blues, psychedelic, and alternative music, Lorquin’s Admiral appeals to fans of Kyuss, Fu Manchu and Fatso Jetson, as well as admirers of the Cranberries, Screaming Trees and Garbage. The band carves out a unique space in the heavy-psychedelic scene, proving that rock music remains a powerful and evolving force.

MORE ABOUT EMPTY FULL SPACE AND THEIR DEBUT ALBUM

Empty Full Space consists of Nico (guitars, vocals), Flo (drums, backing vocals), Edgar (synthesizers, percussion), Antoine (bass), and Max (guitars). With just one year on the Parisian music scene but boasting dozens of vibrant performances, the band has drawn inspiration from legends like Hawkwind and Can, as well as contemporaries such as King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard, Osees and Maragda, to shape their unique vision of psychedelia, kraut-rock, and garage.

"Amnesia" and "From The Limbo" serve as the first two singles into their debut album, 'From The Limbo' - full private listening -, with a release scheduled for March 20. This inaugural musical offering from Empty Full Space was recorded between Heat Studios and Pain de Mie Studio - both located in France - by Pierre Dessauny and Djibee, respectively. The subsequent mixing and mastering took place at Fuzzface Studio in Scotland, helmed by Jason Shaw.

'From The Limbo' will be available on all streaming platforms, as well as in compact disc format and a double vinyl edition, limited to 200 copies in purple and 100 copies in standard black - both part of Spinda Records' 'Trippy Series' alongside releases from Moura, The Silver Linings, or Moundrag. Pre-order is already available through spindarecords.com and the Andalusian label's Bandcamp.

They returned to where it all began. Iron Jinn then named Iron Chin started life on the Last Night On Earth festival after which they stormed the fabled Roadburn festival back in 2018. Since then they delivered an amazing self-titled album, did a majestic tour with Alain Johannes, a European tour on their own and returned to play Roadburn as well in 2023. And that set, was of course recorded, and is set to be released through Lay Bare Recordings on April 5th. And as appetizer you can now view a live recorded video for Lick It or Kick It. Experimental psychedelic rock sensation Iron Jinn, hailing from Amsterdam, is set to captivate the music world with the release of the first video and track Lick It Or Kick It from their highly anticipated live album. Recorded during their spellbinding performance at the renowned Roadburn Festival in 2023, the album promises to be a musical journey, showcasing the band's unique blend of psychedelic rock and experimental sounds.

Iron Jinn comprises the exceptional talents of Oeds Beydals (The Devil’s Blood, Death Alley), Wout Kemkens (Shaking Godspeed, De Niemanders), Bob Hogenelst (Birth of Joy), and Gerben Bielderman (Pauw). The collaboration of guitarists and songwriters Oeds and Wout traces back to their shared history in Death Alley and Shaking Godspeed, united by a passion for challenging the norms of heavy rock music.

The band's inception took place at the Last Night On Earth festival, organized by Oeds and Wout, and subsequently evolved into Iron Jinn with their second performance at Roadburn 2018.

"The Iron Jinn 2023 Roadburn performance was the perfect opportunity for us to present our debut album in the flesh. Roadburn’s Walter Hoeijmakers made it possible for us to expand the band’s line-up for this show with the addition of Jarno Van Es on keys, so we could recreate the layered density the album has to offer," said Oeds Beydals. "This show is a moment in time that we are thankful to have captured: a band getting into its own at a very early stage."

Expertly produced by Pieter ‘Pidah’ Kloos at The Void studio, the album promises to be a sensational auditory and visual experience. Iron Jinn aims to transport listeners into a realm of sonic exploration, weaving spontaneous improvisation and new energy into their studio-produced material.

"Creating fresh counterparts to the more produced studio versions by adding spontaneous improvisation and new fire to the music. Although we hope to keep evolving, this show is a moment in time that we are thankful to have captured: a band getting into its own at a very early stage," added Oeds Beydals. 

 

Live At Roadburn is set for release on 2 x 180g heavy weight black vinyl on the 5th April via Lay Bare Recordings. The double album captures the essence of Iron Jinn's musical evolution and creative process perfectly.
