I admit that this countdown selection is a bit out there. But I am trying to be inclusive here, and just because this is a card set that was marketed regionally in the 1950s doesn't mean it doesn't deserve to be on the countdown. I don't have any Johnston Cookies Braves cards. The company, whose factory was right near Milwaukee County Stadium, issued cards of the Braves in 1953, '54 and '55. They were inserted in boxes of cookies, but you could also order the set through a mail-in offer. Obviously, all of this happened long before I was born.
