Just 2 cards, but they're kind of interesting, kind of

Not a lot of cards have come to the house the last couple of weeks. It's that end-of-the-year busy time, and money is devoted to various holiday expenses instead of cards. As mentioned before, I don't get involved with the Black Friday hobby deals, because spending money on myself at this time is not recommended if I know what's good for me. I have just two cards on my desk that I have received that are waiting to be shown. Each arrived as a one-card package. Each has a tale to tell. Here is a list of the Top 100 songs of 1982. It pains me to say this, because I was in high school at this time, but 1982 was not a good year for popular music. Horrible things like "Eye Of The Tiger," "Leader Of The Band," "Key Largo," "Abracadabra" -- I could go on and on. (Most of these you will hear played periodically even today, but there is one song that people across the earth apparently made a pact to never play again. It's called "I've Never Been To Me," by Charlene. DON'T LOOK IT UP! You will curse me for ever mentioning the song title. DON'T! It is vile and it deserves its eternal banishment. I'm probably getting in trouble even mentioning it right now)....
