Quite possibly the pinnacle of British synth pop, once of course you get over Bernard's rapping on Idiot Country? Could this (or should this) have really been a New Order album? It does seem to fit quite well between Technique and Republic. Anyway, less of the questions, I'll just let you get on with remembering how you felt when you heard the Electronic album for the very first time.

    Here in Perú, Substance album did it very well, Technique went unnoticed, and it was too sad. "Getting away with it" sounded in the rock radios of that time, Radio Miraflores and Radio 99, and could have done well, but there wasn't a peruvian edition of the album (not even on tape), at that time, people was losing the habit of buy music.
