Keith LeBlanc - Major Malfunction [WR 005 UK 1986 24-Bit FLAC] Sugarhill session drummer Keith LeBlanc met producer Adrian Sherwood in New York in the early-mid eighties, forming a musical partnership along with fellow Sugarhillers Doug Wimbish and Skip MacDonald to become the musical backbone of Mark Stewart & The Maffia, Tackhead and Fats Comet. They also created the famous Malcolm X single which disappointingly was their only commercial success. Sherwood's heavy dub and sampling production skills manipulated the funk/hip-hop creations from the New York threesome into the most explosive and grinding music ever recorded, well beyond those original LeBlanc/Wimbish/MacDonald performances on White Lines , The Message and Rapper's Delight.
