This album will make you dizzy with its complexities, twists & turns and blends of style. Thundercat could well be the bastard son of Frank Zappa and George Clinton. Pressed onto four individual red vinyl 45rpm ten inch records, each in its own sleeve, this is the album which brought Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins out of retirement and proves how good vocalists can actually be without the need for auto-tune. Thundercat also has a pretty decent voice. I don't care much for Kendrick Lamar who appears alongside modern soul voice-for-hire Pharrell Williams.
