  Scott Walker - Scott [MOVLP716 NLD 2013 24-Bit 176.4kHz FLAC] Scott Walker's unique psychedelic baritone psychedelic style has often been mimicked but never bettered as he developed and influenced right up until his passing in 2019. You will struggle to find a nice clean copy of  Walker's classic 1967 debut album these days, recent pressings have come from grey market label, Men With 4 Beards and a noisy digital sourced pressing from GZ Media for UMe. Briefly in 2013 you could pick up this fine Record Industry pressing from Dutch label, Music On Vinyl. This is my go-to copy and I believe it was only removed from their catelogue when UMe decided to release it for themselves. Music On Vinyl rarely declare the lineage their source material, however since the Mo-Faux debacle, the following has appeared on their website.. We use the best audio available to cut our records. The Walker Brothers - The Walker Brothers In Japan [AIDA 076 UK 1987 24-Bit FLAC] Originally released only in Japan on Philips Records (SFX-7115) in 1968, The Walker Brothers In Japan is a double live album of  'the brothers' live on stage over three nights in January 1968 at The Osaka Festival Hall before an incredibly adoring audience. What is remarkable about this record is the quality of the live recording by the Japanese audio technicians on behalf of Philips. It is truly superb, whether or not you like sixties pop, you have to applaud eighties British indie psyche label Bam Caruso for reproducing this record so well over two platters.  There was a time in my life when I bought nearly everything on the Bam Caruso label, chunks of my collection have appeared on my old ESWA blog years back, however much has not. This is one of those - I did promise once to rip my entire stack of Rubbles compilations ...that may still happen. Watch this space. In the mea...
