Nasmak - 4our Clicks [PLUREX 2300 NLD 1982 24-Bit FLAC] Behind every great post-punk band is a fabulous bass player and Theo Van Eenbergen is no exception. Whilst his name doesn't spring to mind as easily as Adamson, Lewis, Principle, Hook or Wobble, 4our Clicks is a superb post-punk record driven by his splendidly complex basslines. This album featured on the old blog about a year ago using digital tracks sourced from the band by a huge ESWA contributor in Holland and I am somewhat chuffed to be able to now present them in high resolution 24-bit audio. Nasmak are one of those Benelux experimental post-punk bands who skirted the attention of most in the UK purely because their records were very difficult to track down. Peel played a couple of tracks from their 1980 debut album, and there was a 1982 Peel Session.
