Blood, Sweat And Tears - Child Is Father To The Man [CS 9619 DEU 2007 24-Bit 176.4/88.2kHz FLAC] I own an original 1968 British pressing of this album, I attempted a rip about four years ago and contemplated a new attempt, however the years have not helped a record which is just a few years younger than I am. I am a huge fan of this album and its follow-up, so for just a few quid more than your regular modern day repress/remaster digital hatchet job on vinyl, you can pick-up this all analogue repress courtesy of the excellent Speakers Corner Records label, mastered and plated by Rainer Maillard at Emil Berliner Studios. The pressing was onto virgin vinyl by Schallplattenfabrik Pallas GmbH. After their initial inception as a covers band, Blood Sweat and Tears released two fantastic albums before disintegrating into a shadow of their former selves with a succession of line-ups releasing dull jazz-rock albums.
