Skids - Into The Valley [7" VS 241 UK 1979 24-Bit FLAC] Long before he developed a taste for pretentious poetry and became a TV presenter, Richard Jobson fronted Skids, one of the best new wave bands ever to come out of Fife (that's the other side of the Forth Road Bridge from Edinburgh in case your geography isn't up to scratch). The late Stuart Adamson's guitar is one of the most recognisable sounds from Skids, as Adamson went on to lead the very successful Big Country.
