I met The Shend in an east London pub a few years back during the Small Wonder anniversary celebrations, nice chap! This giant of a man has since gone on to minor celebrity hood showing off his acting skills with appearances on British television shows like Red Dwarf, Eastenders and The Bill. He will best be remembered for his time fronting The Cravats, but let us not forget The Very Things, the band who uniquely represented the very antitheses of pop music.
