The Beatnigs - Television [VIRUS 71T UK 1988 24-Bit FLAC] The remarkable debut (and only) single by San Francisco rappers The Beatnigs was produced by Adrian Sherwood. For a short while their label Alternative Tentacles got their facts a little bit wrong and proclaimed the remix was by Tackhead, and crudely stickered over the mistake on the sleeve. John Peel loved them and got them in for a session which I have somewhere - there was also a self-produced album which I bought on cd but I always thought Sherwood would have made a better job of the production.
