Manicured Noise - Northern Stories 1978/80 [CTRUE 11 UK 2015 24-Bit FLAC] Manicured Noise were a four piece Manchester post-punk bank who recorded just two singles at the famous TJM Studios in the city during 1979. Faith is one of my favourite Manc post-punk singles and I ripped my original seven inch a few years back on ESWA. This album combines both sides of that single with their first release Metronome b/w Moscow 1980 and a whole host of unreleased tracks including a BBC Radio session. This is a fairly comprehensive collection of the studio recordings by one of Manchester's forgotten post-punk bands.
