Hüsker Dü ‎- Metal Circus [SST 020 UK 1983 24-Bit FLAC] A millennial work colleague asked me this week if I shared his love of Blink 182 ....I just laughed and told him to go listen to some  Hüsker Dü. History says Metal Circus was to mark the transition from Hüsker Dü's early hardcore punk sound into more appealing alternative rock, so much so that standouts It's Not Funny Anymore and Diane are more radio friendly. I have always thought of Metal Circus as a mini-album at 45rpm, although Discogs considers it to be a twelve inch single. Grant Hart - 2541 [SST 219 USA 1988 24-Bit FLAC] I was contemplating a run of Bob Mould, Hüsker Dü and Sugar posts (maybe another day), however I realised that I had never ripped and posted this, the debut sentimental single from former Hüsker, Grant Hart.
