Nuclear Assault - The Plague [MFLAG 13 UK 1987 24-Bit FLAC] This one seems quite apt right now ...if not exactly keeping within the usual boundaries of this blog! Thanks to penguinflight for allowing me to rip all his vinyl from which boxes this is sourced. Nuclear Assault was a thrash metal band from New York and were fronted by former Anthrax bassist Danny Lilker. Back in the day, young kids disenfranchised with the commercialisation of metal lapped this kind of stuff up. I am not a huge fan however the title track sounds rather good to me.
