Klaus Dinger + PreJapandorf - 2000! [LPGRON 170 DEU 2017 24-Bit FLAC] If you've been following my blog rips for many years, then you'll be aware that I covered the works of Klaus Dinger in some depth. For any new followers, Dinger was the original drummer in Kraftwerk (back when they had a drummer) before going on to form highly influential krautrock band Neu! with Michael Rother. When Dinger and Rother split, he then formed another influential krautrock band, La Düsseldorf with brother Thomas and Hanse Lampe. Dinger's drumming sound back in those earlier recordings was very unique, as he offloaded the tom-toms and hi-hats to play just the kick and snare drums in a very basic rhythm, this style was to become well known as motorik. In fact, you now will hear motorik drumming styles on records by most indie bands since the mid-noughties.
