Strawberry Wine marks the mid-point in their career and demonstrates how initially behind the curve they were, especially given that many other bands (JAMC/Primal Scream/C86 etc) had already been here and done this. This single sold in small quantities, failing to dent the Indie Top Ten, which would explain the high prices on the secondhand vinyl market.
