  ShadowParty - ShadowParty [STUMM 423 UK 2018 24-Bit 176.4kHz FLAC] Another new rip. I was never happy with my original and the set-up used at the time didn't help the more modern production sound of this album. This now sounds very much better. Some of you will know of ShadowParty, however many others may not. For the uninitiated they include Boston (MA not Lincolnshire) multi-instrumentalist Josh Hager who has the vocal style of Brandon Flowers, current guest New Order bassist Tom Chapman, New Order guest guitarist Phil Cunningham and the late Denise Johnson from ACR. This is their debut album was released on Mute in limited vinyl quantities, a highly compressed compact disc or as one of those nasty download/streaming thingies. It is quite good, I like it, there are some good tunes much in the modern day New Order style, very little filler and the vocal duo of Hager & Johnson works well.
