Bruce Springsteen - Nebraska [VMP-E118 USA 2022 24-Bit 176.4kHz FLAC] Older readers may remember that up to and including this album, the New Musical Express worshiped everything Bruce Springsteen recorded and released. That was soon to end with his blue collar-rock album Born In The USA , but to many Nebraska remains a classic. Remarkably, I once owned this album on an original cassette tape, but that's another story. Nebraska was the album which placed Springsteen up there with Bob Dylan & Neil Young as one of the great North American songwriters. Recorded as just demos on a home four-track, Bruce decided to release the tracks as was, without any backing band, although rumours have persisted since that full band recordings do exist.
