Cheiron - Land After Life [OS 29 BEL 2015 24-Bit FLAC] Originally recorded between 1981 and 1985, however mostly never released, here is Cheiron - the third project by Dutch synthpop guru Lex Grauwen, this time with chanteuse José van Waveren. If you enjoyed my Frozen Ducks and Tranquil Eyes posts, then this is just for you. If not, then you have no clue as to what you have been missing. The title track appeared on the important Spanish synthwave compilation Pas De Deux in 1985, and Serenity World appeared on a Dutchwave compilation cassette in 1987, everything else is unreleased. Your Life Your Body and Finally Free Four are previously uncovered gems from the genre, so please sit up and pay attention to Cheiron. Avid post-punk synthwave fans will be hooked by listening to the first few opening bars of Beginnings and Lost Freedom. The latter track has the feel of the early version of New Order's 5-8-6 and its ital- disco roots.  Plug this in, you will probably love these ducks. A1 ...
