Eleven Pond - Bas Relief [DE-001 USA 2013 24-Bit FLAC] Originally released on a very rare vinyl album on Game Hen Records (500-92686) in 1986. Eleven Pond were a post-punk synthwave band from Rochester, NY State who managed just one album in 1986. This rare record was repressed on Dark Entries a few years ago, and this repress has become quite a rarity itself. Taking their influence from British bands like New Order and The Chameleons, these chaps had something - regular readers should recall what west coast favourites Abecedarians were doing around the same time. Key tracks are the catchy Watching Trees and the splendid Portugal which eventually found their way on to a 12" single in 2012. Frontman Jeff Gallea has kept Eleven Pond going after all these years and you can enjoy their work here .
