  Moon Duo - Stars Are The Light [SBR-228 USA 2019 24-Bit 176.4kHz FLAC] I don't think I did this album justice with my December 2019 rip, this new take breathes new life into one of the best indie albums of the past five years. I will never declare openly any kind of appreciation for modern stoner rock, however by blending their fuzzy guitar, trippy beats, sparkling & textured electronics with warm shades of mellow euphoria from the sunny side of the moon, Moon Duo from San Francisco (but now Portland) unleashed a cracker of an album. Stars Are The Light was their seventh album and with a lot of help from Sonic Boom who produced & mixed the album. Moon Duo have gone back to their day jobs and haven't released anything new since Stars Are The Light , but perhaps this is all we need.
