Sheik Fawaz - Mohammed's House [TWI 856 BEL 1988 24-Bit FLAC] Back in 1988, Mark Kamins went to Algeria and recorded this single in three (or five) mundane mixes as Sheik Fawaz. This crackly 12" was originally released on avantgarde Belgian label Les Disques Du Crépuscule for the euro-house market, then subsequently licensed to Virgin sub-label Circa Records for the UK. It failed to make much of an impact, except in those sweaty Belgian discotheques which oozed this kind of stuff at the time.
