Stanley Clarke - School Days [P-10239A JPN 1976 24-Bit FLAC] Whilst I despise the sight (& sound) of guitarists screeching and stretching their top strings with curled upper lips in rock poses, I do love the sound of a mean bass player and Stan is as good as they come. Clarke chose to pluck rather than slap in a unique style which comes to the fore on the excellent title track and the very funky Hot Fun . This is my copy of an immaculate & original 1976 Japanese pressing ripped here to gorgeous 24-bits of FLAC with virtually no audible noise floor or residual crackle.
