Lisa Gerrard - The Mirror Pool [VIN180LP 021 UK 2009 24-Bit FLAC] Originally released as a compact disc only on 4AD Records in 1995. If there ever seemed to be an album made specifically for the compact disc market (at its peak around 1995), it was likely The Mirror Pool . 4AD never released it on vinyl, in the end licensing it to Vinyl 180, who as the name suggests, pressed it up onto two 180 gram platters for this lush double album package. It is not a flawless pressing, however careful mastering from my high resolution capture subtlety hides the worst. Pretentious & pompous or creative & contemporary, you decide, I'll just keep listening to Sanvean and Largo over and over again ...and again. Enjoy.
