Slowly easing myself back in ....with something a little off piste!

Some may remember the plethora of releases on the Bam Caruso label which appeared on my old blog many moons ago. This would have featured back then however issues with a dirty record held it back. I have finally gotten around to cleaning up the platter and can now present in 24-bit audio, the kitsch pseudo-soundtrack to a non-existent spy thriller movie, recreated in the style of John Barry by Bam Caruso in-house producer and multi-instrumentalist Brian Marshall.

You will notice that The Silencers are mentioned in the credits, however I doubt these were the  well known Scottish twang-pop specialists from the eighties and more a reference to pistol mufflers. The album itself was planned for Bam Caruso Records, however eventually appeared on off-shoot label Disques Noir. Wheelpsin and Masquerade did appear as a taster single on Bam Caruso in 1986, the twang-fest of SPYDA's Web also featured on the important Bam Caruso sampler Meanwhile Back At The Ranch Big Dan Is Fightin' For His Life.
