The Fall ‎- Perverted By Language [ROUGH 62 UK 1983 24-Bit FLAC]

My favourite Fall album by some distance ripped from an original 1983 pressing on Rough Trade, likely something to do with Eat Y'Self Fitter which a young Blogmeister and chums could be heard reciting word for word through the streets of Manchester after late night drinking sessions. This album also sees the introduction of Brix Smith who gets to lead the vocals on the weakest track, Hotel Blöedel. Stand outs will always be Smile and I Feel Voxish.

    For me also the favourite Fall album but, with all the respect, Hotel Blöedel is one of the finest tracks of the Fall. Thank you very much for this great post !

    I love this album but personally it's behind Witch Trials, Room To Live and Hex Enduction ... for me it feels like the beginning of the long end (entirely about my own feelings about the contributions of Brix). A truly great band (or group of musicians-uh). I own all of their vinyl but any of your rips will always be welcome in my temperance house.

    Thanks ... a great vintage of Fall... I'd forgotten "Neighbourhood Of Infinity", it was one of the Fall tracks that first grabbed me and pulled me down the rabbit hole.
