Out-of-print since around time of release in 1995, The Gold Experience was finally repressed as a replica of the double LP US promo edition for Record Store Day in 2022. Initially the victim of an Italian appeal judge's bizarre decision that the Purple One had plagiarised a previously unknown Ital-disco single, Takin' Me To Paradise by Raynard J.     

Possibly my favourite Prince album since Sign Of The Times, and likely his raunchiest since The Black Album, original copies had been fetching high numbers on the secondary market. This double gold vinyl edition was mastered by Daniel Krieger at SST and pressed at Pallas in Germany.
