Flashback Friday

Today we revisit this week in 2015... 

Marley and Iza got along so great! 

I really like this one.  I don't know why Marley is bright and Iza shadowed, but it is an interesting photo.

OK, that's more balanced in light...

Maybe it is some consequence of the camera flashy.

Easy Like Sunday

 After all the tacks TBT had ta do, sudden rains, and the winds yesserday, were doin the Easy today.

MOL!  Just a week an we almost forgot how ta do the pics.  Fortunately, TBT was near an helped...

The new camera was funny.  It came without a memory card.  TBT found an old small-brained one (like a grasshopper) an it could only hold like 6 thoughts at once.  But then he stumbled on one that was more like a mousie-brain one an can hold dozens.  He says he needs ta go hunting next week for a cat-sized brain one.  That would hold 100s.

Of course, we all unnerstand that's really a Bein-size memory card.  One our size-brain could hold 1,000 of course.  But we don't want that.  He clicks us enough as it is!

Been Away

Sorry we havent posted for a few days.  TBT lost the camera a week ago, and went hunting for a replacement. And we dint have anny unused ones ta use.   It has arrived and he has taken a few pictures but hasnt processed them yet.  He promises ta do that soon!

Thankful Thursday

 Its hard ta beat nappin for "Thankful".

Although TBT keeps waking me up with the camera flashies...  He forgets ta turn that off sometimes.

Womancat Wensday

AYLA:   First, I wanna apologize fer my face bein hard ta see.  Even the flashy doesnt do good at it.  

This is about the best we can get.  

I sometimes envied Iza.  The camera sure loved her...

And we had our spats, but I miss her.

We might be irregular the next couple weeks.  TBT has lots ta do outside and inside before it gets dark outside an inside earlier but still warm outside.  But we will nibble his ankles if he goes too long...

OK, he got the hint...

 AYLA:  TBT trys ta get good good picticures of me.  The camera cannot catch my gorgeous colors though.

So we tried a whole lot...

Iza was SO  photogenic.  And we dint allus get along purrfectly.  But I would sure like to have her around again.  I mean, ya know i'm surrrounded by mancats now.

BTW, I am about ta get Zoom Groomed.  And though I don't need it much, I like it.  Not quite like Marley, who almost passes out during it (he has a thicker furs), but it is good.  And Laz is starting to watch "brushing" time with some interest.  

Mostly, I just wish he would leave me alone, but the more he gets into the daily routines, I suppose that is better.  He DOES act better lately.

Toesie Tuesday

MARLEY:  We are just NOT having much luck with the camera lately!  I was on The Lap and flexing a paw.  TBT gets a kick out of that, so he tried ta get a picture.

Yeah, right...  First, the camera waited until my paw was unflexed (you CAN see a claw though). 

Then it was flexed but not on "macro".

Then on macro but it was blurry annyway!

Sometimes ya just cant win...

Monday Towels

MARLEY:   We were asked a bit ago about our bloo towels.  So after laundry day, TBT set them out all folded.

That one that looks grey is blooer than it seems.  It is "navy bloo".  We need a better camera!  Ands there was one medium bloo towel hiding in the drier.  But we dint feel like re-doing the pic...

Weird Wensday

Here are where the cats weren't today...

Ayla wasn't in the laundry hamper.

Marley wasn't on the bed...

Iza wasn't on the slightly heaty mat.

And "why" you ask? 

Because they heard the camera power up...

Wobbly Camera Wensday

There is a hawk in this picture.  Somewhere...

We swear, toes crossed!

It grabbed one of OUR birds and then flew off.  TBT is way too slow with the camera sometimes...  And maybe moving the camera doesnt werk too good.

The weerd thing?  The birds were back at the feeder in a minite...

Missed Picture

TBT:  Always keep your camera within reach!  Usually, when I sit down to watch TV in the evening, I make sure to have the camera and all the TV remotes handy.  It's hard to move with a cat on your lap.  Last night, because I had been using the camera to take pictures outside, it wasn't in the usual place and I didn't bother to go get it.

So sad...

Iza, of course, curled up on my lap at once.  But then Ayla hopped up, looked at Iza, and went up to the back of the chair.  Not unusual.  But then she came down, curled up next to Iza, and they actually SNUGGLED together tight as 2 kittens.

And I couldn't take a picture of them!  And it wasn't just 1 picture I missed getting, it was several.  They moved around some.  Sometimes Iza's head was on Ayla, sometimes Ayla's head was on Iza, and sometimes their paws were entwined.

It lasted about 30 minutes until Ayla finally stood up, shook her head, and hopped down.  I have no idea what caused the snuggling.  I hope it happens again sometime soon when I have the camera at hand!

Girlcat Tuesday

AYLA:  TBT got new blankies and stuff fer the waterybed (cotton stuff ta fight the Winter static what bothers all of us here).  So I decided the new blankie deserved a good posed kitty.  Me of course!

 Then TBT tossed one of my milk jug rings on the bed an I got all ecited. 

I LOVE those things!  They are light and round and easy to carry around.  Whapping them is like hitting a bug.  

 So forgive the slightly blurry pictures; I WAS kinna active.  Plus the flashy decides ta werk (or not) as it chooses.  It cant be forced ON. 

But I had lots of fun with the ring-thing until I decided I was tired  I went behind the dresser so TBT couldn't bother my nap with the flashy...
