Thankful Thursday

We are thankful for comfy places ta sleep.   

The house has been warmer than usual this week, but we kinna like that.  Warm is good.  

We hope these arent old pics.  TBT has been slack lately about crossing the used ones on the list he keeps and we never remember.

Twofur Tuesday

Actually, a Threefur...  Its good fer US lately.  

TBT says that anyday we are all around happy together, it is a GOOD day.  And we are getting better at that.  An he says there will be a new MEW joining us here in a few weeks and we better be all good together or we will get crummy food fer a week!

He says it will be a little Tonkie girlcat...

We'll see how that works after she arrives.  She better be polite!

Look and be amazed.  The Mews eating together.  You won't see that often.  Ayla is recovering her Right to be around in the house.

 

Thanksgiving Day

THE MEWS:  TBT says today is Thanks Giving Day in our place where we give thanks to the bounty of nature and (for us) mousies.  Sometimes a birdie, but that is rare.  But on our own, we would be very hungry cats.

So first we want to thank TBT for the food he gives us every day several times.  It is GOOD STUFF.  We get fishie food and birdie foods every day.

 

Second, we want to say TBT is a GOOD FRIEND.  He scritches us in places that we have trouble getting at,  He takes Sticky Seeds out of our furs,  He takes loose furs off us. He lets us sit on his LAP and feel loved.

He pays attention when we meow.  Sometimes that just means we want attention and sometimes we want to go out,  He seems to know.  We are thankful for that,   He doesn't speak The Language, but he guesses pretty well.

 He talks to us all day.   We love to hear him talk to us.  It means he knows we are there around him.  We all talk back.

He stays outside with us ta protect us when we are out,  and that makes us feel safe.  We love being out.  It is very exciting.  And so, when he has to go IN to like make his complicated meals, we come back in.  Because we know he and we will go out again the next day.

We know we are lucky kitties,  TBT says so.  And we agree.  It is a GOOD PLACE.  Marley and Ayla knew from the start (well after a few days).  I Laz, had a trouble trusting it at first, but I know now,

We are showing it by getting along.  Yeah, we used these pics a few days ago, but it still counts.  We are getting along.

We are all thankful and happy here...

Easy Like Sunday

TBT:  Well, I SURE wasnt expecting THIS!  Ayla routinely hisses at Laz.

Good thing the flash was off.  Laz isn't used to that AT ALL!

And then they ate together.  Ayla usually demands her food in the bedroom at several places and I never know where it will be until she settles down somewhere.

 This MIGHT become amazing...

AYLA:  So TBT was eating his dinner (smoked pork stew, yellow italian flat beans, tossed salad, wine)...

We typically sit all around him when he is eating.  Marley was on the back of the chair.

I was sitting up on the desk.

Iza was on the arm of the chair.

We were all just taking our EASY before dawn today, and TBT caught us close in the dark!

On the other paw, we do get along.  So long as Marley is in the middle...

Chrissymouse Eve Morning

We are all ecited.  TBT says Sandy Claws will be here sometime during the night, so we cant stay up too late later tonight.  We cant imagine HOW we could sleep on a special night like this will be, but apparently we will.

TBT has told us not too expect TOO much, as we seem to be overloaded with toys, cat trees, scratchers, treats, etc.  Right!  Like there can ever be too many of THOSE...

But he says that we are all Very Good Kitties, so he is sure Sandy Claws will come up with SOMETHING to surprise us.  That it is sort of HIS special talent.  Well, OK, but it better not be coal wrapped in ribbons or a tub of new kitty litter!  Ya know, nothing PRACTICAL.

Ta make things harder for waiting fer tomorrow, it has been raining 3 days, so we cant go out an run around to burn up energy and time.  So he says he will play wand-toys with us so we are good and tired AND we will get Real Chicken before bedtime.  Well, Marley doesnt actally LIKE Real Chicken, so he will get some Real Treats (as opposed to just reglar kibbles).

We don't have anny good pictures of us prowling around waiting for the day to end, so we are using a great header from Ann that has a lot of good pictures of us together...  We are just too twitchy ta be very creative today.

Iza Update, Bast, we arent gonna make it .  Its barely past 3 pm.  Marley ran out into the drizzle, Ayla is prowling on the bookcase tops, and I am followin TBT around everywhere (well I usually do anyway) askin when it is gonna get dark.  Be soon Dark, be soon...

This "bein good" stuff is drivin us all crazypants!  What iffen I fail at the last minute.   What isfwhappin the Chirpie Chicken is a Naughty thing.   What if NIP is a naughty thing?  Pant, pant, pant...

What iffen Sandy Paws gives ME Ayla's deserved lump of coal?    I will be good Sandy Claws, never eat too much from Marleys bowl...

Non-Decepticat Saturday

AYLA:  This isnt from today.  We'll be honest about that.  Mostly cuz some of you may know that Rachel Maddow isnt ON on Saturdays and we dont wanna be caught faking the date.  If we were sure we could get away with it though, we would.  Deception is a very ancient an honorable cat-practice, after all...

If her picture wasnt involved, I might have tried it.  But first, I wanted ta show you all how carefully I watch the TV.  In the top pic, Rachel was talking, so I looked at her (I can tell what Being is talkin even though the sound comes from way out at the sides).  In this other pic, I could tell what Bein was being referred to, so I looked at HIM.

But its honest in the sense that this is how we spend most of our evenings after dinner, so that makes it "OK".  We watch some TV while we slow down fer the evening while settled down somewhere.  So this pic is typical.  It IS usually Iza on TBTs lap with Marley on the Otto-man, an me somewhere close by, but mainly all of us in the same room.

Thats a good way ta spend an evening, right?  We hope ya all do that too.
