Proposed Content of Petition
And suggestions requested. We can't think of everything right to say at thefirst try maybe.
"We, the cats of the blogosphere, real life, and otherwhere, object to NBC’s ‘The Office’ show making light of a character (Dwight) killing a cat through poison and then freezing of an innocent cat. We demand that the character be made to show true and serious remorse, that he be shown to take positive action to help cats to live full and meaningful lives, and that he later be removed from the TV show.
We further demand that you recognize and speak through ‘The Office’ characters and other NBC shows that abusing cats through killing or other cruel actions is wrong and is not in any way part of your future plot lines.
We expect that you will make a very public statement that you abhor and condemn the killing of cats, the abuse of them, and that you very seriously regret the action of “Dwight” and the writers of ‘The Office’ for ever suggesting the killing of cats.
The statement of regret will be both public and included in the ‘The Office’ TV show."

Does that seem good or should we add or delete something?
