Plate-Licking Tuesday

AYLA:  Few things are better than a plate coated with chickie greases!  Well, other than a whole chicken thigh itself of course...  I sure am glad TBT LOVES chicken.

Lick, lick, lick, lick, lick, lick...

Then a quick stretch and time ta go nap!

BTW, Iza and I got some small actual chickie bits before this as usual (Marley just sniffs at them an walks away)...

Marley Licks Plate!

MARLEY:  Oh ALRIGHT, already.  Yeah, I seldom like Bein food, but this one smelled good.  In fact, I even pushed Iza off and I never fight with the Sisfurs about food.  [TBT:  It was pork with gravy] 

 We both licked furiously.  I'm not sure why istsuddenly smelled so good. 

 And then I had it alone to myself.

I licked every bit...

Completely!

And then checked for bits I missed.

You would think he put Nip in it

Or something...

But I left none of it!

I might have ta investigate the plates more often!

Plate-Licking

IZA:  Well, it was chicken last night, and in a form we could eat (no spicy sauces).  After Ayla and me got some little bits and TBT finished, he put the bowl down.  She got some good licks!

And dint leave much.

Which was OK, I had got there first.  Ya can see me licking my lips here.

Though afterwards, I wished I could get another shot at it.

But Ayla is very protective of plates an it is hard ta lick a plate when ya are getting paw-whappied...

Easy Like Sunday Not

AYLA:  We get fed plenty.  But sometimes TBTs plate is just SO good-smelly, we want ta lick it clean annyway.  And we have habits.  Iza licks up and down, Marley licks side to side.

The pattern breaks down as there is less and less ta lick. I finally got MY turn...  I may be smaller, but I have some tricks.  One is ta get on the side of Marley.  He moves over and pushes Iza off.  Heh, heh, heh...

She is NOT thrilled.

And leaves...

Then I make a sudden move on Marley ta get the last licks.

Well, they got the first.  I SHOULD get the last!

Tuesday Plate Licks

We love TBT food (when it isnt spicy or veggish).

Gravy is REAL good.

Every last lick...

And some extra licks ta be sure we dint miss anny.

Tastey Thursday

IZA:  Yes, thank you, I DID get the tastey plate!  It takes some werk.

First, I have to fight off Ayla, who also likes that plate stuff.

But I have a technique.  I shove my nose unner her chin.

And push to the far side of the plate.  That gets me good control.

 Iffen I can get my face over most of the plate, I WIN!

 Lick, Lick, Lick...

But TBT says I am too greedy and wont share.  So he pulls me away (sometimes) to let Ayla get some licks in.  

He baffles me sometimes.  Fortunately, Marley doesn't like TBTs plate stuff, or this would get REAL complexicated...  But I got 90% of the licks, so thats "OK".

Werdy Wensday

IZA:  I am often sitting on the edge of the ottoman with my head at the edge of TBTs food table.  And Im NOT staring at HIM! 

Im staring at the plate!  Oh BAST, I want that so badly...   Thats a piece of steak, thats steakfat, and thats steakfatjuice!  And that stuff does not EVER come out of OUR food cans! 

Please PLEASE PLEASE just put the plate on the floor.  I'll lick it so clean you wont have ta wash it.  I wont pounce Marley fer a WEEK.  I'll GROOM Ayla and give her KISSIES (well, we can discuss that later)...  But PLEASE just give me that plate!

Caturday Saturday

AYLA:  Marley isnt much innerested in TBTs foods.  Iza and ME are.  So when good-smelly plates are lowered ta the floor, we check them out fast.

Iza is pushy and noses in almost always.  I get annoyed...

I do my best ta get my fair share of chickie fat, but she is bigger.

Well, take THAT whap, Iza!  (It was a better whap in reality, but the camera is slow when I want it ta be fast and fast when I want it ta be slow, ya know?)

And its MINE!

She was reduced ta licking her lips and watching...

While *I* cleaned the plate...
