MARLEY: Last night brought warm laundry to the bed. I love hearing that machine in the basement running! I just wait for TBT ta dump the laundry on the bed...
It warms these old bones almost as good as a sunpuddle!

This week in 2015, The Mews were having a day of opposites.
It started with Ayla enjoying the towel pile and stretching out her long front legs.
It was a good day for them. Different experiences and warmth at the end of it.
LORI: I'm "aquarium girl" sometimes. I love the warmth the light, and I try to get at the "fishy-flakes" (they smell great). I stopped trying to catch the fish though. They are way too fast.
I love the towel pillow TBT put there just for me. The brick is just there to keep it in place.
What's not ta love? The fishy tank is heated and the light makes the top even warmer.
I even eat up there sometimes!
Taz: (Oops, TBT made a mistake, sometimes orange is orange). Well where else would I be if I had my choice? OK, maybe The Lap, but a pile of warm laundry is nothing to be unpurred about.
In fact, where else would YOU like be?
LORI: Of course I love being on TBTs lap. Warmth, scritchies, comfort, companionship, etc. But recently, he increased the warmth and I LOVE IT! There is this warm pad around his leg lately.
This week 2013 this time!
Marley and Iza were relaxing together in the yard.
She cherished that she had a bird in the house. Cost me nothing to let her enjoy it. Had to pick up a few tail-feathers, but that wasn't much effort.
And if you are wondering, she probably caught 20 mice/shrews and a few loud frogs for every bird.
Its chilly, breezy, and bright outside. It is warm, calm, and dim inside.
Today we are all Thankful for outdoors warmth. TBT keeps the house cool like 68-72F. Which is OK because we have furs. And at night, we have TBT and the waterybed to keep us warm. But sometimes it is great to go out on the deck in Summer and enjoy the warms fer hours...
Well, Laz was off hunting mousies...
LORI: I love sitting up on the fishy-tank! The water is heated, the light is also warm, and I can watch the little fishies swimmin around in the plants...
There is even a little ladder next to it just for me.
I am sometimes deliriously happy about The Mews, They sleep around me at night and want my attention in the daytime. I have to seek out Ayla; she is having her elder problems but loves when I find her in her few favorite spots and talk to her for a while.
But some pics are just too special. Lori and Laz often curl up together and Marlety is on the bed but not close. Last night was different.
They were actually touching while napping! That isn't like Marley to do that! But he did.
I think I will run a few cheap towels through the drier again to see if they get closer on a smaller warm pile..
Because yesterday was Blog For Peace Day...
It is always a fun experience looking back in time. I never know what special pictures I will find in some past year or another at this same week. But this time, I was really surprised about this week in 2010! It was a weird week...
Ayla and Iza were getting along together then. It wasn't routine like Laz and Lori now, but it happened sometimes. Looking at them both together then, it is easy to understand why the breeder (who originally bought Iza to be a Queen) thought she was a Siamese!
Happy Flashback Friday!
AYLA: I like sittin on the top of the aquarium.
I'm not after the fishies.
