TAZ:  I'm enjoying the towel covering the laundry basket.  All that laundry sure makes things comfy! 

Thankful Thursday

AYLA:  OK, traded my Apple towel fer a fancier one.  The old one hadda be washed.

This one actally matches my colors better, dontcha think?

I want somnething bloo, but matching tan IS sort of innerestin.

An it really IS kinna fancy an I LIKE that.
  

Thankful Thursday

AYLA:  I am thankful today for TBT, shelter, food, clean litterboxes, and all that usual stuff.  I am thankful for Marley.  

I am even thankful for Laz.  That may come as a surprise to most of you, but he has been SO much better lately.  We even stand next to the deck door together waiting ta go out.  And that has been odd.  While Laz was kept indoors for his first 3 years (elsewhere), I enjoyed going out.

Then he arrived and things were bad.  Laz wasn't allowed out here because he was too new and not really attached to our house yet.  I stayed inside because I hid in the bedroom from Laz and waiting around the deck door often ended up with Laz attacking me.  So, fer a while, only Marley and TBT went outside.

Well, after after some months, TBT decided to introduce Laz to "outside".  Laz was quite nervous about it at first, but TBT had him on a harness/leash AND held him tightly while just sitting on the deck and talking to him.

He stared around intently!

And eventually, he let Laz walk around on the harness.  And of course, Laz just pulled out of it after a couple walks.  Fortunately, he dint run away (though at the time, I wished he would).  In fact, he froze in place.  Well, we (who ARE allowed out) have all kinna done that the first times outside.  Too much space is a bit scary.  But we usually experience that as kittens,  when we are more open ta unusual experiences.  EVERYTHING is a bit unusual ta a kitten, right?

But Laz was almost 4.  Freedom was scarey!  He ran ta TBTs feet.  Sniffed the ground.  Sniffed the air.  Listened ta noises.   There was a lot for him all at once.  He ran back inside the first few times after a few minutes out.  But he LOVES being outside these days.  

So, as I said, Laz and I often sit next to each other at the deck door waiting to go out these days.  And when we do, we often stop and groom each other briefly on the deck.  Then Laz runs down the steps.  I tend to stay ON the deck these days.  Marley tends ta stay inside.  He has become a real "comfort-loving cat".  

But I am also thankful today for another reason.  Ya saw the pictures yesserday when I was on the back of the easy chair (and I really like that it has a wider softer back than the previous one).  

But the pretty towel I like ta nap on was falling off, and TBT dint realize it.  A Princess CARES about such things!  Well, after I told him and when he saw the pictures, he fixed that.  He carefully arranged the pretty apple towel better, and I climbed right back up on it.  

Seriously, who DOESNT like looking good when pictured?

I napped MUCH better.

Even better, he says he will put a BIG folded towel under it for my greater comfort.  I will appreciate that, but I do want my pretty towel on the top.  I will go back to bloo after a while.  Apples are zappier, but bloo is true in the long run!  But for now, the red apples match the red chair and the red walls and I am having a color-coordinated week...

Monday Towels

MARLEY:   We were asked a bit ago about our bloo towels.  So after laundry day, TBT set them out all folded.

That one that looks grey is blooer than it seems.  It is "navy bloo".  We need a better camera!  Ands there was one medium bloo towel hiding in the drier.  But we dint feel like re-doing the pic...

Tuesday Talkie Time

LAZ:  I talk ta Dad often.  He says I talk more than Ayla does, and she is a FULL Siamese.  

I'm up on Ayla's Special Towel.  She hates that.  I just laff.  I'm in charge here.  Well, it is a Good Spot and she has others I leave alone.

I like looking at Dad from eye-height, too, ya know?  It means we are equals.

See the yawn?  Its naptime...

Bet I made YOU yawn too...  MOL!

Easy Like Sunday

LAZ:  There is a chair in the bedroom where TBT sits to put on his furs and pawcovers.  But he knows I like to sit there some nights when he tosses and turns too much fer me ta sleep next ta him, so he put some folded towels on it just for me.  Ayla isnt the only one who likes Bloo.  I AM 1/2 Siamese, after all.

The towel is a bit claw0catchy.  Sometimes I have to shake a paw loose.

But it IS comfy, so I deal with it.

Tried a B&W pic.  I dont think it flatters me.  Makes me look a bit "boring".

When TBT starts to wake up, I watch him carefully.  Sometimes he just turns.  But when he actally gets UP, that means Breakfast!

I LOVE Breakfast. 

 

Easy Like Sunday

AYLA:  This is a great Easy day.  Bloo towel ta sit on and bloo pots ta frame my lovliness!

Who could ask fer annything more?

Womancat Wensday

IZA:  Two slight angles...

TBT says I am the "a pit o me" at sleeping sweetly...  I don't unnerstand that one, but who cares? 

Caturday Saturday

IZA:   I was just sitting around on one of the many Nice Bloo Towels we have around the house and watchin TBT do odd stuff when he suddenly took a good picture of me on it.  So I chose it for today.

BTW, when I say TBT was doing odd stuff, I mean that half the time I really have no idea what he is doing.  But it seems to keep him busy, so I guess it is harmless enough.  Eventually, he will get tired of being odd and sit down and I will go and nap on his lap...

Thankful Thursday

MARLEY:  I am thankful for the not-so-hot replacement heaty mat cuz it is a good spot for me when Iza is on the new one.

AYLA:  I am thankful for that LITTLE extra softness while sittin on the waterybed.

IZA:  I am thankful for TBTs lap.

Easy Like Sunday

MARLEY:  TBT keeps added padding to the top of our TV-watching chair.  He says that is so he can lean his overly big heavy head back.  But I know better.

The inch doesnt help him anny, but it makes some difference to ME!

So he has to be doing it just for me.  And so that I can lick his head-hair in more comfort.  I like doing that.

Mancat Monday

MARLEY:  No, its not "the back of disrespect".  Im just layin on the shelf towel lookin out at the deck in the evening.  Sometimes a possum comes along, sometimes a small frog climbs the glass door.  A frog is better than nothing...  And there are always moths hittin the glass tryin ta get in at the lights.

Iza says I just frustrate myself watchin moths and frogs I cant get at, but I like watchin them.  Ya can get into a kinna dreamy-world just starin...

Caturday Saturday

Well, no sooner than we mentioned the towels on the plant stand were a bit thin, TBT came home with better ones.  He constantly amazes us.

And we had been debating what color towels showed us off best and decided bloo was best overall.

So look at what he did!

They are thicker and fluffier!   PURRS...

And in fact, he says he will fold up the old towels (freshly washed) inside those tomorrow so it is even thicker and softer.   But still look completely BLOO!

BTW, it is Aylas 11th Birfday tomorrow AND Fathers Day.  There will be a double pawty!  Save the date...

Mancat Wensday

MARLEY:  Well, we are all off-theme this week, but who cares?  Today IM doing "Womancat Wensday".  We are sort or relaxed about that.  And I AM relaxed...

The towel could be a little thicker though.

But it beats just the wire mesh under it...

MARLEY:  Ya may remember Saturday when I didnt like the green towel color much cuz it dint show off my furs right?

New Towels

IZA AND MARLEY:  Speaking of new towels (from yesserday), TBT brought home 2 new BIG BLOO Towels fer us!  And we both got on them fast.  Nothing better than new bloo towels.  They show us off GOOD!
