Caturday Saturday

The Washington Nationals baseball team has a "Pups In The Park" day where people can bring their dogs to the game.  Well, today they are having "Cat-urday".

There are neat T-Shirts (for expensive reserved seats, though proceeds benefit the Humane Rescue Alliance)...





But fans can't bring their cats!  Not that most of us would WANT ta be at a noisy crowded stadium fer hours in carriers or on leashes (and no litter boxes or soft cushions), but that seems completely unfair.

Snowyday Caturday

AYLA:  Well, April or not, Mother Nature DID play a Fool's on us!  We got SNOWWED this morning...

Ive never seen snow around our tulips.  TBT says HE hasnt either, and he goes back further than I do.

They do NOT look happy!

But it IS pretty...

The coreopsis dont seem thrilled about it either.  They bent over some from the weight.

The lilies stood tall though.  They're sturdier!

Its all melted already, but it sure was a surprise when we got up earlier today...

Non-Decepticat Saturday

AYLA:  This isnt from today.  We'll be honest about that.  Mostly cuz some of you may know that Rachel Maddow isnt ON on Saturdays and we dont wanna be caught faking the date.  If we were sure we could get away with it though, we would.  Deception is a very ancient an honorable cat-practice, after all...

If her picture wasnt involved, I might have tried it.  But first, I wanted ta show you all how carefully I watch the TV.  In the top pic, Rachel was talking, so I looked at her (I can tell what Being is talkin even though the sound comes from way out at the sides).  In this other pic, I could tell what Bein was being referred to, so I looked at HIM.

But its honest in the sense that this is how we spend most of our evenings after dinner, so that makes it "OK".  We watch some TV while we slow down fer the evening while settled down somewhere.  So this pic is typical.  It IS usually Iza on TBTs lap with Marley on the Otto-man, an me somewhere close by, but mainly all of us in the same room.

Thats a good way ta spend an evening, right?  We hope ya all do that too.

MARLEY:  I hopped down off the rail to this new blankie I saw folded up.  It was NOT what I expected!  Fer one thing, it crinkled loudly an I dont like crinkly noises.

Fer another thing, it was all wobbly an saggy an I had trouble walkin on it.

Mebbe iffen I stand real still...

I think its time ta get off; I feel a bit odd...

IZA:  Marley an I we LOVE the mousies.  One of the best spots is right below the birdie feeder.  Cuz the mousies LOVE the fallen seeds.

Don't look fer pictures right now. TBT got up EARLY an let us OUT EARLY.  No special reason we know of, he just did.  It was so unusual, even AYLA ran outside an she usally doesn't.

Mebbe we'll post more later.  But mostly he just got up early an we wanted OUT more than breakfast (we ate late last night).
