Ha Ha, I got it first!

LC: SNAP! He jumped and I did too. The Big Thing caught a mousie! An for some reason, he doesn't like to eat them, so we get them when they are fresh-dead! I was closest. He caught it an tossed it on the floor. An I grabbed it an ran away with it. Skeeter followed me, but I wouldn't let him have any of it.

Skeeter was real upset and took it away from me, but the The Big Thing picked him up and promised him the next mousie. That seems fair. I don't get as many mousies as he does. Skeeter got scratched until he nearly passed out. So it balances. Next mousie, Skeeter has it and I get scratched. An I'll have to watch him play with it an eat it. But I'll get scratched all over and unner the chin, an I really like that! Good as a mousie. An The Big Thing will make sure I have no ticksies on me, too. I have had 2 of them since the last Big Moon, so it is a good thng he checks me all over.

But I want another mousie!

There WAS A Mousie!

Skeeter: The Big Thing staggerred up early yesterday, and saw I was sniffering arund the main chair we sit in. He just laughed. But I knew there was a mousie in there and I wanted it!

When I kept at it, The Big Thing got curious and lifted the bottom of the sheet he covers the chair with. No mousie. Then he lowered the top. No mousie. By then, I was disgusted and walked away.

Then he pulled the whole thing off (and scared me half out of a life). And there was the mousie! It was ahold of the middle of the front! The Big Thing thought that covering it for a second would cause it to stay there while he got my attention back.

He sure doesn't know the first thing about mousies! I knew it was gone the instant it was covered. But I gave it my best try anyway. I'll bet it is hiding inside the rockey-chair. I can smell it all over the chair! An I have to sit on his lap smelling that mousie smell all over.

He's not entirely stupid, though. Close, but without the necessary kitty characteristics. He brought out some traps and used peanut butter (awful stuff, but mousies like it). I think he is going to try to catch them in his own way.

He lifteded up the top of his cooking place and he found little mousie shits there. That made him really annoyed.

I tried to remind him before it was getting cold outside and mousies like warm places too, but he wasn't listening. Now he is listening... LOL!

He is going about catching mousies. An he sure is good at it. He gets them in places we can't reach. He uses these things that break their necks like we do, only more sudden and faster. For a Big Thing that is pretty stupid sometimes, he is really lethal! I have to remember that!

Well, he reached into the nasty place under the kitchen sink and brought out 4 things of wood and metal to catch mousies. They work; I've seen it. I don't how. The Big Thing gives us the mousies though, an we have fun with them. We usually eat them.

Bet a clean litterbox that we get a mousie or two by light!
