TAZ:   Marley and Me get along well.  Which, is good fer me cuz he is a lot bigger.

Cameras do funny things sometimes.  I (Taz) look bigger than Marley here, but he weighs 13 and I weigh 9.5.

 TAZ:  It is hard to beat a laundry basket on a rainy day...

MARLEY:  I'm waiting for Taz ta leave the laundry basket.  I could make him get out, of course, but he's my Bro.  I'm patient...

Marley and I spent some time just sitting around together.

Marley can sit in the box when I'M done with it.

But I wont make him wait too long.  After all, we're friends...

HAPPY NATIONAL CAT DAY!  WE DESERVE IT.

MARLEY AND TAZ:   We get along very well.  Mostly just by sharing space closely...

MARLEY:  I don't fuss with annycat.

TAZ:  And I like Marley a lot.

But there are brief (like 5 second) wrasslin sessions (and we keep our claws in).  And a brief chase sometimes (barely even energetic for me).  I can't win at wrasslin, but he can't catch me iffen I don't want him to.  Well, I stay just ahead of him ta encourage him to run around some...

 MARLEY:  Lori and Binq are nappin inside, so this is Mancat day outside.  I am showing Taz more about where to find mousies.  

The main idea in the lawn area is to find mole tunnels and look for holes in them.  Thats where the mousies come out or hide close to.  

So ya suddenly stick a paw with open claws down there and sometimes ya hook one!  In this pic, Taz is practicin sniffing a hole while I watch around for mousie-noises in the leafs.

I heard something in another direction.  But it was just an Evil Skwerral and it was already climbin a tree so no point in chasing it.  

Taz was already looking for another mousie-hole so I needed to offer some meows to him about where to look next.

Taz and I get along really well.  And the kid has some promise as a mouser.  Seems willing ta learn, and all that.

Ginger Cat Day

MARLEY:   Its Ginger Cat Day and let's just say I am a very bright Ginger...  So here are some pictures of me from last year (so we dont confuse things with Flashback Friday - which are usually about 10 years old).  Yeah, I know Taz is a ginger cat too.  But Ive been here about 14 times as long, so he gets just one at the end.  Seniority rules!
